HOW TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE

Image
“Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.” Mathew 25:16-17 (KJV) Hi folks it is nice to be back on this journey called productivity, we have reached a very important milestone of this narrative called “How to Become Productive ”. From our journey so far it is very palpable that the most important factor in becoming productive is how the precious resource of time is used. The truth is most human resources can be replaced, a deforested land can be afforested, some resources can be renewed, but the resources of time can never be renewed.  If time can be renewed or reversed then most of us would have rewound the tides of time to correct certain mistakes we have done in the past, besides all the other resources can be explored in the context of time. In other words no matter how resourced a person is, if one doesn’t have the precious resources o

The Benefits of Productivity

“ And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  Mathew 25:20 – 21(KJV) I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is great to be back on this ride called “Productivity”. Today, we are going to narrow the narrative on the benefits of being productive. I hope you are familiar with this maxim “Everything has cause and an effect”. Who we are today as individuals or as a country is simply as a results of how we have use the resources of the past. Ghana is where it is today because of how we used our resources in the past; and if I talk about the resources, I mean more of the precious commodity of time.  Ghana, a nation blessed with a lot of na

What is Productivity?

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”  John 9:4 (KJV) Hi folks, it is good to be back and I trust you had a fruitful week, today we want to continue our journey on productivity; we want to focus on what exactly is productivity. This topic brings to mind an experience a former colleague at work told me some few year ago. This colleague is a British of Ghanaian parentage, her experience was about the rude shock she had the first time she arrived in Ghana as a working class adult.  Having grown up in England, a country where time is valued as the most important resource, generally people spend time doing things that are productive to them. People live to work or engage in things that add on to them, the system doesn’t promote those who idle around. Mostly, hanging out is sometimes seen as a waste of precious time because one could be learning something or keeping abreast with the latest development in their fie

PRODUCTIVITY

“For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.”   Mathew 13:12(KJV) Hi folks, I want to wish you an uplifting and a fruitful 2018, this is the year you and I must give our all to God so us to experience Him in an increasing measure. I want us to start the year with a message that the Lord gave me understanding into last year. The message has to do with productivity or fruitfulness; and I have entitled this series “Productivity”. The case of DR Congo on one hand and Belgium on the other hand never ceases to amaze me. DR Congo (DRC), a country in Central Africa has one of the richest ecosystem in the world in terms of natural resources; it is believed that about 30% of the world’s sought after minerals can be found in the DRC. This country has an untapped potential to produce enough hydroelectric power to drive the economies of most countries in the central Africa republ

SOME FACTS ABOUT STAGES

Image
Hi folks, all so soon we have come to the end of this journey and I hope you have been blessed, but before we sign off I want us to take a look at some facts about what we just looked at, so as to refresh our memory and probably clear any doubts in our minds. 1.        Assignment determines Duration - Your assignment on earth determines the duration you spend in your preparatory process – Just like the introductory story about the pregnant dog and the pregnant elephant, the duration one spends at a particular stage hinges on the assignment we are supposed to fulfill on earth. I saw this quote on a friends facebook page and I quote      “Noah – waited 120 years before the predicted rains arrived, Abraham waited for 25 years for a promised son and Joseph waited for 14 years in prison for a crime he did not ” So it will be unhealthy on our part to be comparing ourselves with others, the bible says that “those who compare themselves with others are not wise” , however, you ca
